What are my priorities if I'm re-elected another term?
Public Engagement
We started Councilor Corner Live to better engage with residents on topics you care about. I’d like to find more creative ways to better involve everyone in our local government.
K-8 School Facility Needs
I support the K-8 Strategic School Solution and want to ensure our youngest residents have the facilities needed to ensure a quality and safe education.
Affordability
It’s important the Town continues it’s strong financial management practices. The school investment will put additional pressure on our tax bills and I want to work with the Council to identify mitigation strategies to keep taxes low while we invest in our future. It’s possible!
Growth Management
We’ve implemented a rate of growth ordinance to better manage the pace of growth in Town. But now it’s time to revisit Impact Fees to ensure new development pays their fair share so the Town can continue to provide quality services to our residents.
Conservation & Climate Change
The Council committed to a 30X30 Goal to conserve more land to protect our natural resources and is investing in a Vulnerability Assessment to address impacts of climate change on our community. Work here has just started, and I’d like to see it through.
